THE LEDGEWOOD SERIES, inspired by the linearity in many of the works by Richard Diebenkorn, and the hard edged paintings of Ellsworth Kelly and Al Held.  These works each begin with six lines, painted at differing angles, which form 13 pockets of color in each of the works.  Thus there is a pattern to this series, but change in color and design make each piece unique.
