Now that the weather is taking mini steps toward improving here are a couple of ways to satisfy your interest in art.

MV can be inviting, and Louisa Gould Gallery has a springtime show with several of her favored artists, that is running until the end of May. Pricing runs from sub $1,000 to $5,000 ish.

Let's talk Newport! Plenty of sailboats and seascapes being sold down by the wharfs, but wander off the beaten track to 227 Spring St. The tiny Sitka Gallery is exactly on topic with the show, OCEAN RISING II. Have a glass of wine and meet the artists from 2PM to 4PM on May 4th.

Oh all right! Addison Gallery is sticking by their logo slug, "Art Worth Collecting". This place is for upscale collectors, but mere mortals are free to drop by as well.
